Sweet Charity

Sweet Charity

What went wrong with the interview was that she was not dressed the same as how everyone else was. If she were to be working with the people in the office she would not fit in because of her attire, they all wore suits and she was not dressed in a suit. She was also so used to wearing a lot of makeup and that is something she probably should not have done, maybe she could have toned it done a little. I also think she was not as confident by when she was saying that she did not know any of the lists of questions being asked. She also was not confident when at the end she became upset and started to beg. What she did do correctly was that she put in effort to show up and try to get a job. When the man was on the phone she politely waited for him to finish. It looked like she possibly brought a resume if not an application because the man knew her name.” Today, employment laws are still proposed by various segments of society in an effort to ensure fairness in the workplace(Hayes 28).” She did not make any lies to any of the questions and she was straight up with every question. Although she did not know how to perform the duties asked the man did not discriminate against her, he still tried to find another way she could possibly get hired but it did not work out for her. “Affirmative action constitutes a good-faith effort by employees to address past and/or present discrimination through a variety of specific, results-oriented procedures (Hayes 36)”
